I am having trouble with the installation of the newest Easy Blog on http://www.springshomesforrent.com. It either goes through the steps and stops at modules, or it makes it to modules and stops at the end (Step 4). Could you take a look? On a related note, I keep getting 404 messages on the backend of this site which is why I am trying to upgrade all components and modules to the latest version. Any help you can give would be appreciated.

I tried checking the site and it seems like the reason the installation failed is because intermittently, that 404 error is throwing up during the AJAX calls, http://take.ms/G1Xyf

Were you able to figure out where these 404 is coming from?

Hi Mark,
No, I have not been able to figure out the error. Do you think it is related to the template? I did reload the latest version of the template, as well as Joomla 3.8.1.

Hey Amy,

To be honest I am not too sure but if you permit me to try turning off some of the plugins and perform a thorough debug on the site, I could try to find the root cause of the problem but during this time, there could be intermittent downtime on the site as I will place debug codes to find the source of the issue.

Hey Amy,

Okay, this is my findings. Randomly, that 404 page isn't really generated by Joomla but your web server is actually throwing an Internal Server Error, http://take.ms/dOOkG . Since you have the codes to redirect to the 404 page in your htaccess, it is generating the 404 page.

You need to get your hosting provider to look into the log files because the log file doesn't generate anything here

Great, do keep me updated on this as I am curious too as to why it is hitting Internal Server Errors and I also need to complete the installation of EasyBlog since I can't proceed
