Trouble installing

Having trouble installing the easy social plugin on an older version of Joomla.

Also GoDaddy account is setup as deluxe wordpress,
however its running both joomla and wordpress under seperate DB's properly.

Possibly need to update the joomla software, or upgrade the godaddy php/apache.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Attached is all my php info/joomla info and install errors I got from the easy social extension.
It seems like you Joomla site PHP still using very older PHP version which is 5.2.x , perhaps you can request your webhosting provider to help you upgrade to at least PHP 5.3.3x and above? Because base on what i see your error from the installation page, it seems like this PHP "magical" PHP constants __DIR__ only available to use it at least PHP 5.3.x and above.

Once your webhosting provider already help you upgraded it, then try install again and see how it goes?

Thank you for your fast reply. I'm sorry I didn't login to see it soon enough.

I noticed the php version was below the minimum requirement as well. I have a wordpress website setup alongside the joomla one and it runs an older version of php and I was worried about upgrading.

I upgraded regardless (even though I couldn't downgrade).

Thankfully, everything is working perfectly for wordpress. Php didn't break anything yay! And the error message went away and easy social installed perfectly. Thank you for your help.
