unfortunately right now I cannot do that since the website is on my local machine only. Is there any steps I could do to resolve this problem? Do I need more than the one language file that I tried to copy to the Korean language folder?

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as we are currently having a Joomla conference here in Malaysia and most of the team are involved in the preparation.

Try my following instruction and see is it help or not :
#1. Make sure you have install Joomla korea language from backend > extension > language manager > find Korea language > install
#2. Set Korean language by default language from backend > extension > language manager
#3. Download the Easydiscuss Korean language package from http://stackideas.com/downloads/languages ( Korean (Korea) [ko-KR] ) -> hmm, I noticed only 8% translated that Korean language. In other word, a lot of language will still use English, unless you got manually translate this langauge file JoomlaFolder/language/ko-KR/ko-KR.com_easydiscuss.ini

it seems I downloaded a corrupted ko-KR file before, now it kind of works as intented. Thanks for your explanation.
Just one follow up question:
As you can see in the attached image, some strings cannot be translated ("resolved" in this case). I checked the whole ko-KR.ini and changed all the resolved strings to Korean, but is still shows the english translation. Around 80% of the changes I made are accepted but the rest still shows in english (and 1 string I found is Germen)
Any suggestions?
