Hi,

To ensure right translation, let me know below.
What is the difference between Alert and Notification?
Hello Masanori,

Hm, yeah perhaps it should be called "Notifications" rather than "Alerts".

Hello,

Alerts are actually more like warnings or notices whereas notifications on the other hand is to notify a user when specific action occurs which involves the user. On Oxford, notification is to "inform or give notice" to a person.

Hello Mark,

Thank you for the note.
The reason I asked this is notification configurations are located under the tab of alert in backend.
So an admin user opens alert tab but he actually sees notification settings right?
I think this may be a little complicated.
So I'm considering to integrate alert and notification in the translation.
How do you think?

Hi Mark,

Thank you for the note.
I'm still considering but Japanese translation may integrate "Alerts" and "Notification" ...
I do not have good understanding regard to "Badges" and "Achievements" so I may ask this on another thread.
