Hi there,

In my profile page I see in the Apps module the language string APP_KOMENTO_USER_TITLE. Also in the backend under Applications, the Komento app shows untranslated strings. See also attachment. Does the language file of the Komento app needs to be updated?

Regards,
Ewoud
Hello Ewoud,

I am sorry for the late reply.
May I know what do you trying to achieve here? I have check language file in your site and it seems like it is not 100% translated. Can you give a try translate these language string into Dutch? Dir: /administrator/language/nl-NL/nl-NL.com_easysocial.ini
APP_USER_KOMENTO_SETTINGS_PROFILE="Profile"
APP_USER_KOMENTO_SETTINGS_PROFILE_DESC="Configure application related settings for comments app on your profile."
APP_USER_KOMENTO_SETTINGS_PROFILE_TOTAL="Total comments to display"
APP_USER_KOMENTO_SETTINGS_PROFILE_TOTAL_DESC="Specify the number of comments to display in the profile."
APP_USER_KOMENTO_SETTINGS_PROFILE_WIDGET="Show comments widget"
APP_USER_KOMENTO_SETTINGS_PROFILE_WIDGET_DESC="Determines if the comments widget should appear in the profile sidebar."

I am very sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Hello Ewoud,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.
That's strange, it should be translated to backend and frontpage. Check my screenshot below.

APP_USER_KOMENTO_SETTINGS_PROFILE="Profile"
APP_USER_KOMENTO_SETTINGS_PROFILE_DESC="Configure application related settings for comments app on your profile."
APP_USER_KOMENTO_SETTINGS_PROFILE_TOTAL="Total comments to display"
APP_USER_KOMENTO_SETTINGS_PROFILE_TOTAL_DESC="Specify the number of comments to display in the profile."
APP_USER_KOMENTO_SETTINGS_PROFILE_WIDGET="Show comments widget"
APP_USER_KOMENTO_SETTINGS_PROFILE_WIDGET_DESC="Determines if the comments widget should appear in the profile sidebar."

Can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this? Please advise.

Hi Arlex,

Thanks for fixing this. Can you tell me what you did exactly? I see it is now called Komento but I want to translate it to the correct Dutch word.

Hi Mohd,

I didn't realise that these strings are to be found in the nl-NL.com_easysocial.ini language file. I thought it would be in the app language file. But thanks for letting me know so I know now where to change the language.

Regards,
Ewoud

Hello Ewoud,

We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused because for EasySocial 1.2.14, we have made some changes in language settings where language for apps are now stored together with the EasySocial component. This changes was made to minimize the loading time of EasySocial. Hope you can understand.

If you have anymore question, please don't hesitate to ask us and please create a new ticket. I will mark this ticket as resolved.

Thanks again and have a wonderful day.

Hi Mohd,

No worries, I am actually glad that you are combining the language files. There were way too many of them.
