Transaction Purpose missing

I no longer have an option between Business and Personal in billing details, and can find no setting specific to this field.

This affects taxation so I need users to be able to specify.

Billing Details is enabled, all the rest of the company info is there just not PERSONAL or BUSINESS

Please advise.

Version 4.2.14
Joomla 4
Registration : PayPlans default
The transaction purpose still remains, only the option of it on the checkout page has been removed.

Currently, the Tax Identification ID field is the one to determine whether the transaction purpose is business or personal. If the user does not fill in anything on that field means is personal, if the user does fill in that field then is business.

Perhaps you can give it a try and see how it goes. You can take a look at the attached video for an example.

Hey there,

This has been removed since PayPlans 4.2.1.

Alternatively, you can take a look at Subscription Custom Details as shown in the screenshot for an example(https://monosnap.com/file/26ifVwgoL64VtJHDvlgZG1PYePH4Y6) and see how it goes.

OK screen shot works.. but how is this supposed to help me? Why have you removed a critical field.. le me explain WHY this is needed in the EU

My clients site is based in Belgium, 21% VAT
If someone resgiuster from outside of Belgium, Business or Personal.. they get charge 21?% VAT
If a PERSON from Belgium registers, 21% VAT
If a BUSINESS from Belgium regusters 0% VAT

If a user cant choose between busness and personal, VAT in the EU will be calculated incorrectly. How will CUSTOM work with the EUVAT APP to let it know whether to use business / personal tax rate that is defined within that actual APP?

WHy would you remove something so vital for EU sites?

Brilliant, not ideal BUT may work. Some small freelance businesses dont necesarily have a VAT number but I will test that out. Thanks.
