it's advisable to turn off trackbacks completely - in fact in the upcoming easyblog 4.0 we're going to remove trackbacks completely. here's a quote from mark also with a solution to get rid of them:

Turn off trackbacks because we are going to remove it in EasyBlog 4.0 anyway. Trackbacks was meant to build link backs for blogs that was created in the past but lately, it seems like these spammers are really hitting really hard on trackbacks. Turn it off, and run the SQL query below to remove all trackbacks (So that MySQL wouldn't be heavy)

truncate table #__easyblog_trackback

Replace #__ with your table prefix.

Did you run the SQL query that Alex posted earlier? If you cannot execute it, please provide us with the phpmyadmin access.

I could clean the trackbacks. But I cannot turn off the trackback because of this error. please help me.

also I get this error when I open the categories in the blog JUser: :_load: Unable to load user with ID: 53
