Toolbar malfunction: the "home" tool bar button does not load the standard front page correctly.

I just installed Easy Blog and migrated joomla existing articles in the blog.

The leftmost button of the toolbar is labelled "home" ( "accueil" in french). However it seems to be controlled by the "last post" on/off trigger in the backend configuration of the tool bar : this appears to be a translation issue in the backend admin, for wich a fix is proposed later in this discussion.

In addition, if i click on this menu item, I get an unformatted page prefixed with the following error message
:Warning: preg_match_all() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /htdocs/components/com_easyblog/helpers/audio.php on line 36]

The error message issue was fixed from input later in the discussion.

Remains the last and real issue : the Easy Blog front-page template seems Broken.

I am not sure to what are the translation you mention, are you able to find the right ones?
For the home button It appears to be a minor bug that occur on certain sites, I had fix this for your, please have a look.

I not sure I understand your issue here, do you mean this toolbar settings, please advice?

Yes topmost button, right column. Obviously mislabeled in the french translation. How can I fix that ? The english label is consistant with the front end operations.

Content of the front page of the Blog : where are the parameters of the layout ?

Please make your changes in,
JOOMLA\language\xx-XX\xx-XX.com_easyblog.ini
in your case xx is your franch language pack and look for:
COM_EASYBLOG_TOOLBAR_LATEST_POSTS_TIPS

Sorry, Ihad not seen the attachment. I uploaded it, and the error is gone. The opened page is still broken however (no template). But we are making progress.

Can you please provide us with the Joomla back end access as well as the FTP access so that I can check on the issues on your site?

I checked the language file : the english label refers actually to the latest blog button. To be sure I had the right one, I made a slight modif of the translation and uploaded it. The change appeared where expected. So it really looks like a bug, even if it is convenient since I can bypass my broken front page?.
I have put back the front end toolbar button on my site, using the "show latest post button in toolbar" in the backend parameters>layout>toolbar section. I don't have a "latest post" button in my front end tool bar, and the "home" button of the tool bar opens a broken page with an unformatted view of the latest post.

I give you access credentials, but since if there is a fix I will have to apply it on several sites, I would rather have a reproducible fix that I can apply myself ie an official patch of the current delivery. Or if it is not a bug, instructions on how to fix my configuration.

Yes, you fixed the presentation issue. But the mix up between front page and latest posts buttons in the tool bar remains. But I can live with the work arounds I have Found.

So I wo'nt use this feature until the bug is completely and officially fixed.

Hello Caizergues,

Sorry that I didn't get you earlier, This is not a bug, the blogs that is set http://www.caiztest.fr/ are set on featured post layout and is not a front page layout, the home button when press will go to your frontpage layout, please set it to frontpage layout in your menu type.
