May I know where did you hit this error?

Is it you trying to install the Stackideas toolbar module?

If yes, it seems to work fine for me, you can check my attached screenshot below.

My Joomla Dashboard indicated that an update was available.

I went to Update and the Toolbar Update Package was listed. The error occurred when I tried the update (three times). The update listing was odd to me, as I had not seen it before.

Clearly it has worked for you. I have no idea what happened.

Did you update the module or install the module.

From what did just now was manually upload the toolbar module installer from the "Upload & Install extension" page.

Perhaps you can keep us updated if the issue still persists when you try to update to the next new version.
