Too many notifications

Whenever people Join or Leave social groups, it is generating email notifications. Whilst I like having the email notifications overall it seems a bit much if all Group members get these notifications when people change groups.

Is there a way to limit Join/Leave notifications to the admin of the Group only?

Unfortunately it is not possible to limit the notifications to the group admin only currently

That seems like bit of an oversight. Maybe the feature can be added in a future version?
