I noticed that this blog post has a very long title and is diluting the message for seo. I want the title to be just the title of the blog post.
The url : http://style-review.com/you-blog/entry/what-to-do-in-dubai-places-to-go

it is set as default in the backend - please see screenshot - https://www.evernote.com/l/APGZkqo2Ao1CE7Xadu0b7LWJNbyeHciz01M

I know that I can set a page title for each post but I would like to get it automated. Going back over a lot of blog posts is too time consuming.

Thanks
Thanks for took your time to explained again, I understand now.

I think your blog title is appended on the page title, try disable this option from backend > Easyblog > setting > general > general tab > Append Title On Entry View - NO , and see how it goes?

hey Calvin,

I have a little bit lost here, are you referring page title ( http://take.ms/QwEAp ) or post URL format (http://style-review.com/you-blog/entry/what-to-do-in-dubai-places-to-go)?

If you referring page title, unfortunately we can't automatic this to shorter title, if the blogger didn't set their custom page title from composer, system will automatically follow back his blog post title name.

If you referring the page URL format, I would suggest you switch to use 'Simple' URL so that post URL will be shorter.

Ok I am under the impression that both page title and browser title are same see here -

http://www.boostsuite.com/2012/05/08/what-is-a-page-title/

So are you saying this is caused by joomla ?

I don't care about the url but the amount of words after the actual blog title is my issue - (what you see in a tab)
