Try download my attached file and replace into this file again -> JoomlaFolder\components\com_easydiscuss\helpers\helper.php and see how it goes?

It seems to work, I do a bit of testing and I tell you.

I will consult with our developer regarding this is it a better solution, if yes, I will include this fix in next release version.
