Good morning,
In addition to the themes not updating when I change the default in the back end, none of the links will take me to an individual blog article. They all go to the latest posts list. Do you know why?
Hey there,

Can you explain more about what do you mean 'In addition to the themes not updating when I change the default in the back end, none of the links will take me to an individual blog article. They all go to the latest posts list.' as I am not really understand on it.

Do you mean that the links which are the title and read more can't redirect to the correct page?

By the way, can you include your site's access and FTP's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so that we can have a further checking on it and troubleshooting it if needed?

Hello,
I also opened a ticket because I am unable to change themes. I mentioned that in case the two issues were related.

When I have a list of posts, for example in category view, if I click on the title, the cover photo or the Read More link, the url will change to that specific post, but the format will remain the category view. I'll upload a screenshot.

Thanks@

Hey there,

I noticed that there are 2 issues :

1. Whenever I access any blog page like single author page and blog entry page, it doesn't show the correct layout on the page, I suspect that is some misconfiguration setting from your current template, perhaps you can consult with your template provider regarding this and see how it goes?

Because if I temporary switch your Rick's Blog Menu template style to use Joomla default Protostar, it did show correctly for the layout when I access one of the existing blog entry page or single author page.

2. In the meanwhile, when I access this Rick's Blog Menu on your site, it seems like it only returns this message "There are no blog posts currently available". By right, it shouldn't show this message since the public users can able to view your existing blog post.

Is it possible for you provide us with your FTP access so we can better have a check?

I'll take a look at the template.

I uploaded FTP details.

Thank you!

You are correct. Changing the Gantry 5 template fixed most of the link issues. I still get a 404 error when I try to link to the author profile, though.

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Based on what i checked, it seems like this table `#__easyblog_bloggers` got this user id `858` permalink same as your current valid user, you can check my attached screenshot below.

So system unable to identify which user you trying to view on the site.

I already help you updated this user id `858` permalink to something else, it should work fine now, can you give it a check?

By the way, I also help you created a hidden menu item on your site under 'hidden menu'.
