Any idea why the title and description of my forum would not be displaying at all and how I could go about getting them to appear? (see screenshot of where it is missing above). I have the menu item set to frontpage layout. Or is there a module that uses the frontpage layout I could place on a page so I could get another title in that way? I didn't see anything but maybe I'm missing something simple?

Second question- is there a way to put a more obvious log-in box for existing users on the right hand sidebar?

Thanks for any help!
Hi Mandy,

Regarding your issue with title and description, you need to enable this setting in order for it to get displayed: EasyDiscuss > Settings > Layout > Toolbar > Enable Header = yes.

Regarding your second issue, is there a way to put a more obvious log-in box for existing users on the right hand sidebar.
>> I cannot understand what you're trying to achieve here. I believe we already have login module: mod_easydiscuss_welcome and I believe it is very obvious to see. Here is my screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/DgvjLQFs . Can you try install this in your site and give this a try.

Please do update us back on this issue.

First issue solved! You rock.

Second issue- Maybe I don't have this set-up correctly. Right now I have Easy Discuss set up as a Menu Item - Frontpage Layout. Is there a module that basically replicates this look so I could assign that and the Welcome module I installed to the same page. (Since you can't assign a module to a menu item, only a page.) I feel like I'm just missing something really easy here.

Hi Mandy,

I am sorry, I still can't understand you well. I believe we didn't have any module which replicates the frontpage layout. I apologize as I assume that, you want to display the EasyDiscuss Frontpage layout together with the welcome module in the same page isn't? Here is the screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/V2QpTfMfU2uv .

Can you provide us with backend access and FTP access so that we can understand you better and help you apply this on your site.

That is exactly what I am trying to do. Or if I can't do the Welcome module on the side, is there a way to spell out LOG-IN to the left of the lock icon? How would I go about that?

It just isn't very obvious where users are supposed to login, so I need to make it stand out more. That's really my end goal with this.

We have the site on our internal server right now so I don't have FTP access I can provide.

Appreciate your help!!

Hi Mandy,

You can go to your mod_easydiscuss_welcome, at Extension Manager > Module Manager > mod_easydiscuss_welcome > Menu Assignment > EasyDiscuss.
Here is the screenshot how to published the module and set the position for it: http://screencast.com/t/mohRfhyO .
Here is the screenshot how to assign the module to the menu item: http://screencast.com/t/gWvxJqpUxzfs .

I hope this helps. If you have anymore questions, please do not hesitate to ask us.

If I were not using the Welcome module, and just relying on the Frontpage layout, is there a way to spell out LOG-IN to the left of the lock icon on the toolbar to make it more obvious?
