Hello Guys,

we've got a new problem with the blog.
Our customer wants to check all post before they went online.
If the post is time-phased they can go online without checking.
Is there any possibility that a post can be time-phased but is not going online without checking even if the deadline is over?

kind regards
Hey Wolfgang,

You can just set the publishing date to a future date. This way, the post would be scheduled to be published on that particular time.

Hey Wolfgang,

Hm, unfortunately it is not possible but I think you could refine your workflow this way:

1. Assign users into the "Author" user group in Joomla or any other group as a matter of fact.

2. In the ACL in EasyBlog, do not give them permissions to publish the post. Only give them the permissions to create posts.

3. Instruct them to schedule the post when posting their post.

4. As an admin, approve / reject the post after checking it.

This way, if it is approved, it will still be scheduled and if it is rejected, it will never be published.
