Hi Si Team

Since my last EB update ( 5.1.12) the thumbnails have disappear from the Grid Layout Slide Show.
Please see screen shot and kindly advise.

Thanks

Paul
Hey Paul,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Hm, not entirely sure if I understand you here but looking at your screen shot, the post cover does appear. Am I missing anything here?

Hi,

I am having the same issue as Paul - the 'Showcase' articles in the grid layout are no longer showing the post covers after the upgrade to 5.1.12. I have 'Display Post Cover' set to 'Yes' under Showcase Options in the menu item settings, and was able to see the photos before the upgrade, but after the upgrade I just see the article headline/intro text on a black background, just like Paul's example shown above.

Thanks!

Hi Paul,

Regarding this issue, I've applied a fix on your site and now the thumbnails are showing correctly. Please verify again.

Hi Kevin,

Please download the attached patch.zip file and follow below instruction to apply the fix on your site.

1. Extract zip file 'patch.zip' and you should see http://take.ms/J8x3M
2. Copy 'featured.php' to folder JOOMLA/components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/blogs/latest/ and overwrite the existing featured.php file.
3. Copy 'default.php' to folder JOOMLA/components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/blogs/grid/ and overwrite the existing default.php file.
4. Copy 'formatter/featured.php' to folder JOOMLA/administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/formatter/types/ and overwrite the existing file featured.php.

Remember to backup your original files first before you apply the above fix.

The same fix will be added into next release of EasyBlog.

Thanks.
