Over the long holidays I have spent a short period of time fiddling with my PS4 and when I earned my first trophy on PSN, I was super excited to see it in my stream.

Then, I thought this would be nice if it could be linked to EasySocial. Previews available under the attached section

What do you guys think? Are there any gamers around?
What

You guys never sleep, wow sure thing this would be great to have +1 for this.

Thanks I find this sort of app pretty interesting because the app was created without any core hacks done on EasySocial. It's navigation is entirely based on the API that we have on EasySocial.

The authentication workflow for PlayStation Network is tricky because it has 2 factor authentication and even with this tricky workflow, the API in EasySocial seems to be allowing me to swiftly build this app.

I could see this app be really helpful for Gamer based community. I consider my self a Gamer and would really love an App like this. Also maybe at a later point you could add xbox API and Steam API or make entirely separated apps.

https://xboxapi.com/documentation

https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Steam_Web_API

Really would change a lot on my site and make it more interesting for my users...

Yes! I want that!
To be honest I have to admit that I get greedy when I see such things and automatically want the whole package. So I totally agree with Jean-Marc in seeking a whole gamer package. Especially because my upcoming project will be a gaming community.

Good to hear that We can't actually fit everything in one single "gaming" package because it's api is very different across platforms.

PSN for instance is insane especially with it's json data api that streams huge crazy data which needs to be filtered like a mad man. Haven't played with the xbox / steam api yet but will push the PSN app soon

Perhaps I could use this reason to get an Xbox in the office so that we can "develop" an app for it haha. I heard the new xbox would be released soon eh?

No matter if one or several apps, for me this will be an instant buy.

Hi,

Awesome job on the app!

Quick question, I have purchased the app and am testing it with a small group but we aren't seeing any data show up. We have all authenticated our accounts and I have a cron job activated so I am not sure what else I need to do.

Thanks in advance!

Hello Fidel,

Once the cronjob kicks in, it'll import the data from PSN with the tokens that are stored on the site. If your site isn't pulling these data, could you start a new thread and we'll look into this?

What happened with this app? Any chance of getting it listed back in the app store? Also, what are the possibilities for adding an xbox live app as well?

As Sony has added additional checks on PSN, it prevents any API from connecting to their services (unfortunately). Therefore it has been unpublished.

So this app is now definitely useless or will it be possible to get it fixed?
