I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I am not really sure why you want to remove this because it's like a "news update" from us. You can't remove "Apple" or "Microsoft's" branding can you?

Anyway if you do need to remove this, edit the file /components/com_easyblog/views/easyblog/tmpl/default_rightcol.php

There are many plugins and themes that offer branding removal options especially with "premium" versions. I don't mind seeing the Stack Ideas news, I was primarily interested in removing information that is not necessary for bloggers to see. Please don't be offended It's just a feature request from one of your customers.
