I just can not tell you how many problems I had with this fucking component easyblog .. I can not work with the old version because it does not work redirect, and the new I have a problem with everything from uploading photos and finishing editor.
I see JCE editor works in the administrative panel but it does not work with frontend..
I want to take off create Large and Small size when upload images with media manager, but I don't find option for disable.. (It's crazy, because I add new post, and insert to inside post 6 foto with a size 300Kb each, but after upload this post have size 6 MB)

Hi Veyline

The composer is I think pretty awesome.
Yes it has some flaws for sure and in my experience the way the photos are dealt with is buggy.
Try highlight the photo in question and see if there are several images that you can chose from on the right hand side.
I usually upload correctly and still have to change manual.

best

I need only original size, then original size 600Kb , is it ok, but have more sizes Large 1,6MB and Medium 900kb (1600+900=2,5 MB, if I have 3-4 foto is it 2,5*4=10Mb), but I don't need this sizes, becouse on the blog dont use this size, it's crazy..

I pay for my VPS SSD Server 40Euro every month, have 60Gb.. Now I have 20Gb with backaps. For day added 5-6 posts, if one post have 8 Mb average, 8*5=40mb for day, 40*30=1200Mb for month and 15 Gb for year, because i have backaps is it 30Gb total of year. My site 2 years old and have now only 10 GB..

Hey Veyline,

Firstly, please do edit your post and remove any vulgor words from your post because it makes you look really bad. If you do not remove these words yourself, this post will be deleted in the next 48 hours.

1. It is NOT compulsory to use the new composer. You can use any other editor just by changing this in the settings.

2. If you have an issue with the editor not appearing, create a new thread on our forums and we will check on the issues that you have.

3. Since EasyBlog 3.9, there are actually 7 variations created when you upload a photo so your allegations that the new media manager creates 6 variations is pretty baseless.

You do not understand the importance and needs for these variations because you are under the assumption that everyone has blazing fast internet like you do Imagine if you upload a 5000x5000 image size. Do you expect to embed this image in your post? If you do, people with slower internet is going to hate your site.

4. Hard disks these days are pretty cheap. Why do you even need an SSD to store your images? It doesn't make any sense at all. If you have a VPS, request your hosting provider to mount a normal hard disk and map it to a specific folder of your Joomla site. Don't run any backups on this folder and you are good to go
