Hello

Not sure if it is intended or not. But I'm actually testing as much as I can easyblog 5 to ensure it can keep all the functions we use on the 3.9 version. On the 3.9 media manager, if you type something on the search field, it will show you all results by looking on all shared folders. However on Easyblog 5, it acts as a filter, meaning you must be on the right folder, and also display all items on it. I relied a lot on this search engine, so it's a bit bad for my use. I'd like to know if it's intended or not, and if there is any way to have the original function. It's not a problem if it search what I typed on the field on the current folder (including subfolders), but the way it currently acts will require to reupload like every pictures I used untill now to ensure I'll be able to find them with the search function.

Thanks a lot
Hey there,

There is a whole new media structure that we introduced in EasyBlog 5 where images are stored in per article folder basis. Unfortunately searching throughout the entire images folder is going to be extremely slow and there is no way to actually do this currently

Oh ok. Sad news for me

But I understand that any software must evolve. I'll try to find a solution on my side. Thank you for the answer
