Hello!

Quick problem. When I use a third party editor (let's say JCE), the read more separator works properly. However, If I use the composer, and the block "read more separator", the introtext appears on the article.

I checked my settings, and I already disabled on the post options the fact that the introtext appear on the article, so, I'm a bit confused. I tried some other options, like, disabling the title, and it worked. Don't know if I'm doing something wrong. You'll find on the post an access to my website

Edit : Found another bug. Look at this article. As you can see on the bottom, related posts appear. It shouldn't be the case, I also disabled them on the post options
Hey Philidia,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply,

We applied some fix in 5.0.31, so have to resave setting from backend > Easyblog > category > select each category > click save, by the way, I already help you resave all the category setting, so that related post will not shown in your single blog entry page.

It seems like that was bug, I have applied some fix in this file -> /administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/post/post.php, you have to re-save again with your post and see how it goes?

Ok

Well, you know what? I applied this fix to my production website, that got the same problem, and not only it solved the related post problem, but it also solved the read more separator problem

So... It means basically that any setting you can find on categories aren't applied at start? Just telling it to avoid you to make a fix if it's not necessary

Thanks for getting back to us everything is working now.

But that was strange, because If I post a new blog using composer and inserted a read more block, it will not store introtext into this database table `#__easyblog_post`, perhaps you can provide us with your Live site access so I can better have a look?

I think I found a reproduction case. On my live website, the problem doesn't happen if I select only one category. However, it happens if I select several categories. So, on my test website, it's already fixed, but not on my live environment.

Is the fix going to be on the next version of Easyblog? If yes, then I can simply wait for it. If not, I'll provide my live website access.

Hey there,

Hm, I am not really sure how to reproduce this. Is your live site already running on the latest version of EasyBlog? It's strange that you can't replicate this on your test site but you can replicate this on your live site.

Yes (5.0.31)

If I'm right, he applied a fix on my test website. So, even if I try to put an article on 2 categories, it will work. However, my live website didn't get this fix, and I'm still able to reproduce the bug on it.
