May I know what is your last version of your EasyDiscuss before you update?

Currently, the code in the latest version of EasyDiscuss does not render the Custom Field into the email notification.

Now I do not remember what it was but it always works.
Can not solve the problem?

If we recalled back correctly, we had removed the code that renders the Custom Field into the email notification from the of version 4.0.

The reason we removed is due to the styling issue for the Custom Field in the email notification, imagine if the site would like to show 10 custom fields in the discussion page, means that there is a high possibility that it will break the email layout.

If you want to show a good styling for the custom field in the email notification, it requires heavy customization for the styling custom code in the core file.

If you just want a simple custom field to be shown in the email notification, here is the result of the email notification without the styling(Kindly refer the screenshot), if you okay with it, we can provide you some quick hack for this.

In order to achieve this, you can just download my attached post.php file and replace it at JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easydiscuss/includes/post/post.php.

Do take note that remember to back up the original post.php file before you replace it.
