I am seeing this message in the Audio settings on EasySocial.

Audio Encoding
Configure the audio encoding options in this section
Path to Encoder

/opt/local/bin/ffmpeg
The path you specified is invalid. Please enter a different path to encoder
Compatible with FFMPEG encoder only.

Not sure what to do to fix this.

Hey Randall,

In order for EasySocial to be able to encode / compress audios/videos , it requires the ffmpeg binary.

You need to get the absolute path to the ffmpeg binary from your hosting company.

Hey Adventist,

Perhaps you can start a new thread on our forums and provide us with the following details so we can investigate this?

1. Have you set up FFmpeg on your server yet?

2. Update your site backend and FTP access

3. PHP passthru enable on the site

Just for your information, I have locked and marked this thread as resolved to avoid confusion in the future. Please start a new thread if you have any other issues in the future so it will be easier for us to manage your inquiries.

Thanks for understanding.
