I've gone to install EasySocial and the following message has appeared:

The MD5 hash of the downloaded file does not match. Please contact our support team to look into this.

I'm doing what has been requested and contacting you.

Please advise.

Shane
Hello Shane Williams,

May i know which installation method you using? If you're not using the install by directory method, try using this method and see how it goes?
Documentation : http://docs.stackideas.com/administrators/setup/directory_installation
If the result still the same, is it possible provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this issue? Please advise.

Hi Arlex,
I believe I can setup the CronJob in Cpanel and at this stage just triggering the process manually by firing the URL provided is adequate for testing purposes.

The articles seem to appear ok, however I can't seem to get any attachments to appear in the discussion ... can you conduct a couple of tests to achieve this.

Thanks
Shane.

Hi Arlex,

To clarify - the attach file is only available for image files correct?

Are there any plans to allow other filetypes such as PDF files and Excel Spreadsheets etc?

Thanks
Shane

So I have this "hash does not match" error too and searching for it, only pulls up all these other people with replies "we fixed it for you" not exactly helpful for those of us trying to figure out why this hash error is happening nor, how we fix it. Seriously? Details would be nice.
