I got this failure whilst updating so I tried a full re-installation and got the same error.

Please advise
Hai Bob,
I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Regarding your issue, I have try to download full package to you site but I'm hitting the upload issue from your Joomla backend. I check with you PHP info i found that you server setting is upload_max_filesize=2M, post_max_size=8M, max_execution_time=30.

please consult with you server provider to change upload_max_filesize=30M ,post_max_size=30M ,max_execution_time=300.

Once your hosting increased all the php value, can you also provide us with your FTP access so we can continuous check on this installation issue?

We have made these changes on the server but it is still not working. Site has now disappeared aswell!!

We are going to restore the site from backup and then set up a dev site to get this working. I will email again if we have problems.
