The login is not re-registered after a new visit

Hello

We are now using this new toolbar, rather than the old one (from EasySocial).

However, the new toolbar has a different behavior regarding the entry of the username and password.

With the old one, the username and password were automatically re-entered after a new visit (and after having entered it at least once).
With the new one, the username field remains empty, even if you click on it: you have to enter your username manually again.

There is no such problem with the password.

We use Firefox.

Hi,

Will this issue be fixed in a new release of the toolbar compatible with Joomla 3 or only compatible with Joomla 4?

Hi there,

I believe there is a bug in our code that prevents the browser autocomplete suggestion to be shown on the username form. This toolbar module will be compatible with both; Joomla 3 and Joomla 4.

Hi

With v.1.02, as far as we can see, the login works in a much better way (thanks to the devs for that release), but not as intended: you have to click first on the username field to get the proposition from Firefox, and then do the same with the password field. One would rather expect to have to click only once on the user field to have both fields pre-filled.
Good news too: the QRcode space is there, while it was invisible before.

Hi there,

Thanks for the report. I've checked this and seems like there is an issue with the Firefox browser where the autocomplete doesn't work correctly. However, there is no issue with the Google Chrome browser. Anyway, I've informed our developer regarding this.
