I am not sure which update caused this to happen but right now the blocks edit for Links are not displaying the cover posts. Here is an example of a blog post:

https://www.drcarney.com/blog/condition-related/smoking-increases-cervical-cancer-risk

The three links just below the blog post are not displaying the cover images for their posts.
I wish that I could turn off my cdn in the future without breaking all the images in the blog. I use the CDN for Joomla plugin from Regular Labs.

Thanks for getting back to us you manage to find out the root cause but unfortunately it is not possible to solve this in the system since the link preview image source already stored this in the database.

Hey there,

I tried to replicate the issue on my local site, it seems to work fine. But in your case, the image url is no longer valid. I'd suggest you re-create the link block and try to see if the images are visible under the post. Please see the screenshot below for an example of how the image links work on my site.

Thanks!

Thank you very much,

I just created three links to replace the broken ones on the following page: https://www.drcarney.com/blog/condition-related/antidepressants-bad-for-the-bones

It worked in that I was able to create the links and select the images. On the page I just told you about I left one link with a broken image for you to see. If you try to edit the image using the arrows to select your image you will notice that just about every image is broken. This was probably caused by the most recent update. If I have to go through every image that is broken and manually reenter the links it will take me days of work. If that is the case my best choice will probably be to delete all the links blocks and add links some other way.

I do hope you can look at that page and you have my permission to try to edit the link with the broken image to see if you can figure out what broke the path to all the images.

Thank you, Sean Carney

OK. I think I have found the problem. I used to use KeyCDN for a CDN. The images it is trying to find are looking for KeyCDN urls. I will go now and try to login to KeyCDN and see if it is possible to reinstate my account and hopefully all of the links will start working again. I will keep you informed.

Thank you very much for your time. The problem was that all of your links are linking to the CDN and not to the regular domain name. Interesting. I am not sure if this is a feature or a bug. :-)

I wish that I could turn off my cdn in the future without breaking all the images in the blog. I use the CDN for Joomla plugin from Regular Labs.
