The funtion of Activity Stream Truncation doesn't work
The truncation of activity stream settings only affects the status messages that you post. The previews are handled by the respective apps. In this case, it is the article app for EasySocial Edit the app and you would be able to specify a different truncation.

Hey Wu,

Yes, that is correct because different apps has different way of manipulating the strings, there is no way to centrally truncate strings.

Hey Wu,

I have checked your site and it seems like you have already configured it to truncate at 250 characters, http://take.ms/tPdJu . Is this not correct?

Cool Mark!
It is what I need, thank you for your kindness.
By the way, because I am a Joomla beginner, I am still not sure how to do my joomla posts to truncate at limit characters that I need.

Hey Wu,

To be honest, I have been using Joomla for over 10 years now and I have never used Joomla articles until EasyArticles Anyhow, I don't think there is any truncation settings in Joomla articles. I could be wrong though.
