The Facebook preview image is not displaying

On recent scheduled blog posts, the Facebook Preview Image is not being displayed.

Other posts pull the preview image in just fine - like the Daily Word of Hope - which has the image imbedded into the content of the blog post

I am finding that the Blog Image used in Easy Blog is not always being picked up by Facebook - However - this post DID work fine -

Yes i get this too, hope it will be fixed in EB 5

Hello WIlliam,

I have tried testing the URL that you have provided and it looks like when Facebook tries to crawl your image, it probably hit some roadblocks. If you try to view their debugger tool here, https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ , copy and paste the URL of your blog post. Then under the og:image tag row, inspect the element with Firebug. Somehow Facebook is ignoring the image.

There could be several reasons (Which I can think of out of my head now)

1. The image size ratio does not satisfy Facebook's requirements. If I am not wrong, your image needs to be of a specific width / height

2. There is a problem accessing the image by Facebook. There could be some layer within the webserver that prevents this.
