I know you guys are having huge problems with:

1. Acknowledging issues concerning IE 11 because most of your staff are Mac Users / Developers

2. You'll probably tell me you cannot reproduce the issue I'm reporting...

3. Anyhow for what it's worth here's another issue I've come across, namely Facebook login not working in IE 11 and some issues with Edge also.

You'll see from the screen dump that it does not go to full window and simply does not work as expected in IE 11. There's some strange stuff with Edge also... You might like to have a look at.

Consider this reported as this is what I see and experience.

Good luck!

Cheers!

Hi Ezrul,

I've now know through hard work the answer / work around to what you don't know but aught to know in this reported issue.

Unfortunately, I don't have the opportunity to share this knowledge / enlightenment with you as I simply don't have the time right now.

However, if of interest and time permitting I will share it via Tips and Tricks or something similar in the near future...

Until then I'm also marking this ticket as closed.

Cheers!

Thanks Justin, That helps. Good to know it works with Windows 7 and I appreciate your feedback.

Assuming you're a beer lover I hope you complete the sign-up

I'm actually using Windows 10.

Your reported issue (screen shot) has nothing to do with browser versions / os because it's loading the wrong page (php wise).

I have tested this on your site and it does actually work http://screencast.com/t/qsy5V3PGF . The question is, why is it rendering your site's homepage on the popup rather than a facebook authentication screen.

Is this your first time authenticating? Which site are you testing this on? I am testing it on https://debbie.axus.com

Hi Mark,
Debbie.axus.com is a clone of axus.com. Both are development sites and they both have the same issues.

Here's a video of MY Experiences and it's this I'm letting you know.

I just tested this with my Parallels VM and another Mac machine running on bootcamp windows 10. This is what is showing up for me, http://screencast.com/t/XeEznlEZX

I believe it could be due to your Facebook account but I could be wrong. Have you tested with another Facebook account?

Hi Mark,

Please try again logging in with Facebook and send me a screen dump of what you see using
your Parallels VM and another Mac machine running on bootcamp windows 10.
It'll be interesting to see if there's any difference.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I always test with other browsers and when possible other platforms.

Windows 10, IE 11 NOT OK
Windows FireFox OK
Windows Google Chrome OK
Windows 10, Edge NOT OK
MAC iPad, iPhone NOT Tested yet

Here's my video experience of Edge http://screencast.com/t/SNhZqEgVR

This concludes my experiences this far.

Listen Mark, I can only report on the facts I see and beyond that it's up to you.

However, I do understand the difficulties in not being able to fix something you're not able to replicate.

It's however beyond me to help you further with this at present. If and when I can I'll let you know.

Until then, I can only wish you the best of luck with the reports, screen dumps, and videos I've been able to provide in support of developing your products.

Hi Guy,

I just tried to logged in into your site via facebook but everything seems to be working fine until I finish up the registration process. However it seems like the registration require an approval from site admin but the provided joomla credentials does not permit me to access your administrator page, http://screencast.com/t/yFEAQdVdJ .

Can you re-provide the access so I can test the sign in after the registration is complete on your site using my Edge browser?

Hi Ezrul,

You've been approved so go ahead and test both IE 11 and Edge and post the screen dumps here.

And please get Mark to do the same so we can see what he see's

Mark, Please try again logging in with Facebook and send me a screen dump of what you see using
your Parallels VM and another Mac machine running on bootcamp windows 10.
It'll be interesting to see if there's any difference now.

The loggin details should be correct for subdomain debbie. Maybe you're trying the other site? So, which developer site are you trying to access backend?

Cheers!

Hi Guy,

Hm, seems like everything is working correctly for facebook login from my end for both IE11 and Edge. Refer my video link below for a better view. I tested it on the following site, https://debbie.axus.com/ .

IE11 - http://screencast.com/t/4maY5At26
Edge - http://screencast.com/t/kTOHg5ZzxOC

By the way I've checked the source code and by right will always enforce the popup windows to close right after the login process and redirected the main page to dashboard. The code was made for the worse case scenario possible and we have tested it recently with IE and Edge browsers as well. However we will keep looking and see if there any loop hole that might causing the issue from your end.

The loggin details should be correct for subdomain debbie. Maybe you're trying the other site? So, which developer site are you trying to access backend?

I tried to access the backend of the following site, https://debbie.axus.com/administrator and provided credentials does not permit me to access it.
