Hello

Not sure if is intended or not, but here is the problem. If you display a list of all categories, there is 2 tab. One listing articles, and one listing active authors. No problem on the article listing, but on the author listing, you can see the name of the author, and also the number of articles he wrote.

On my pic though, you can see on the lifestyle category for example, that there is 4 posts, for 3 active authors. The problem is that they wrote 4, 3, and 3 articles = 10 articles. It sounds incoherent for me with the number of posts displayed on the article tab.

On my own website the problem would be that we have several categories, with specialised authors. Let's consider the situation. I'm writing like 80% of the articles of my website, on a category we'll call "A". Then there is John, writing 10% of the articles on the category "B". This category is about something he knows very well, but it happens rarely that I write an article on this category. Then the listing will show that I wrote a lot of articles on A & B categories (Which is not really true for B), but won't show that John is the guy you should ask something related to this "B" category. The problem would be solved if the listing was showing the amount of article written on the B category, and not on all categories.

It's a very minor problem, but I felt like it was still useful to report it, since it could be not intended.
Hey there,

The "post counter" for authors on the category listing is actually meant to display the total number of posts the particular author has written on the site It doesn't actually display the total number of post a particular author contributed in a particular category.
