Textbox displays content as a hyperlink

I am creating a couple of custom fields in the Profile Types of EasySocial and using the Textbox field. When a value is added to that field in the front end it displays as a hyperlink.

Is this the expected behavior for this field type? How do I remove the hyperlink as it seems to selecting some random page when I click on it.

Hi Mel,
Yes that is the default behavior when it is searchable. If you do not want to display the info as a hyperlink, perhaps you can disable the 'searchable' option for that custom field(http://take.ms/6wuhX).
If you want to allow the field to be searchable but disable the hyperlink at the same, you would have to edit this file: JoomlaFolder/media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/user/textboxt/hemes/default/display_content.php
