I am at my wits end right now!!!

I just spent 3 hours making a blog post using microsoft word, and then copied it all and pasted it into my easyblog post. Only to see the font change to multiple different sizes, NO coloring on specific words, and a bunch of gibberish coding text above and below my post when clicking preview. Along with text over the picture that I included in the post that wasnt floating over the picture on microsoft word.

After another hour or so of retyping text using existing "OK" copy and pasted parts of the blog I finally got the content to all look the same as far as size and font go, but marginally off from my original formatting. Clicked preview and still got gibberish coding text that I can't see in the original post.

So what I did was copy the good text from the "preview post" window and placed it into my blog post. Hit preview and looks I guess OK. Except for the picture I had to insert using media manager now has the name/title displayed very gawdy looking. Now obviously I can go without the title of the picture but then that defeats the purpose of keyword naming images for SEO.

So here is my question... how do I create posts in under 3 hours to have the fonts, formats, and pictures I want displayed the way I want without having to monkey wrench them all together.

How can I go into Easyblog type whatever I want highlight words to change their color and insert images without having gawdy borders and titles, and click preview and keep all the font the same size. Because right now I cant do that. I cant even copy and paste text from word format to my easyblog and keep the same size lettering. I have looked back at all my previous posts and see this is a common theme. Some posts are written in bold, others have multiple different font sizes, some have coloring some dont, some have bullet formatting where others have gibberish coding text.

Is there another text editor I am supposed to be using? Was I supposed to download this when I purchased easyblog? How come when I do a search for this on the forum no one else is having this problem? Why am I in the minority on this? Is this a bug that has somehow managed to sneak below the radar until now?

Please help me!!

Adam
How do I fix this??

It didn't look this a month ago now the font has changed, word spacing has changed, line spacing has changed.

Every blog entry has something like this in every one of my EasyBLog posts.

I also have TInymCE & JoomlaAck.

Why can't I just type something & have it appear how I am typing it??

After attempting to figure out how to fix this my self Here is what I got

Here is what it looks like from the backend side

Here are more examples of published post versus post creation view

These are the type of things that has kept me from getting serious about blogging for years. I put all this time and effort into making a post then I hit publish and spend another 3-5 hours trying to make it look just like it did before hitting the publish button. Which then deters me from making another post until I finally get up the determination to set aside 8-10 hours of my day to make one post & forget how annoying and frustrating it is after publishing the post. Want to know how many times I have used Easyblog since I bought this subscription check how many posts I have on your forum that is exactly how many times I have used EB!!!!

So is there a solution to this problem & if so how do I permanently instill that solution. Otherwise I am going elsewhere because blogging shouldnt be this frustrating. I should be able to type and insert pics as I please hit publish and it should look exactly as it did before I hit publish. Nothing should change from a display point of view after I hit publish. And you cant tell me it is the template or the editor. Because I have a different template on graveljobs.com, aowanders.com my adventurejobs.com and I just refered this guy roberttavormina.com/ to purchase your brand new Easyblog subscription to install on this site which I did all the installation and set up for besides the facebook integration. And I have tried multiple editors on all 4 of these sites BUT the only that the font & line spacing doesnt go all wonky on is .roberttavormina.com/ is that because he is copying and pasting his content from wordpress?? why does that site have no magical line spacing demon or font changing ferry?

Hello Adam,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. There seems to be some misunderstanding here. Let me just try to simplify this a little:

1. When you are writing your blog post with your favorite WYSIWYG editor, there are "html" codes being generated.

2. When you publish your blog post, these html codes will then be displayed on the front end when people visits your blog post.

3. Because of your Joomla template, it's overriding these html styling or typography if you call it. Hence, you don't really get exactly what you are seeing when you are writing your blog post because those typography styling are kicking in to reset the styles of the text on the front end.

Does this make sense to you? Anyway I can really easily provide a quick fix if you can just provide me some sample URLs to the blog post but I would personally prefer that you start a new thread instead.
