Hello - Last night I was getting some type of error message on the front side of the website indicating something about unable to load a style sheet. I looked at the website this morning and the formatting for easydiscuss is missing. Please help. My site login info is in my profile.

Thanks
Hey Michael,

The login that you have provided is not working, http://screencast.com/t/15sIgATId

Also, please remember to set a domain for your EasyDiscuss license at http://stackideas.com/dashboard

Hey Michael,

Did you customize the dark theme's css file? It looks like it contains some strange imports on the css file http://screencast.com/t/oQftmbz6TGW

I have duplicated the existing /components/com_easydiscuss/themes/dark/styles/style.css to style_backup.css and reverted to the original dark css file and it works fine now

Hi Mark - Sorry about the double request for service.

In regards to your question, I had modified the dark theme so the dark grey box was a different color, by manipulating the css code. I wanted it to match my EasyBlog dark theme. Is there a different way I am supposed to do this?

Thanks,
Mike

Hey Mike,

To be honest I am not entirely sure what has been done on the css file but I would suggest that you apply css overrides on your Joomla template's css file rather than the css stylesheet on EasyDiscuss. There could be a possibility that your changes actually messed up the entire css file

Ok....wow. I wonder what happened. That is weird. Can I dump that backup file you made, since it's no good? Also, do you have a general idea when EasyDiscuss 4 will be out for use on production sites? A month or two, maybe?

If you already apply your custom css code into your current template css file, you can dump it that backup file what my colleague made for you yesterday.

I can't give you a release time for stable Easydiscuss 4 yet, but we will release RC1 soon.
