I am trying to edit the template files for the Comments section because the Schema is all messed up, and not validating. What are the files involved for every place that Schema code is entered or referenced?
Hey there,

The path for it is JoomlaFolder/components/com_komento/themes/wireframe/comments/item.php

because the Schema is all messed up, and not validating.

May I know what error did you get for it?

Hello Irwin,

I made a video showing what's happening. I've posted it in the private site details section in the additional info section.

Here are 2 url's with the errors that I mention in the video:

1 comment, no reply:
https://feastforfreedom.com/blog/item/28-welcome/189-thoras-story-a-journey-from-hell-to-paradise-3

1 comment, 1 reply:
https://feastforfreedom.com/recipes/item/107-smoothies/183-cantaloupe-refresher-smoothie

You are welcome to go into my site, and make any adjustments while looking at this and working on it, and turn on / off any Komento settings while doing it.

If you make any adjustments to any files, let me know what they are. I will likely do some additional customizing, and I make notes on what files are customized so I don't forget.

This is not urgent.

Thank you.

Thanks for your video, I already applied some fixes on your site regarding this following files :

JoomlaFolder/templates/g5_helium/html/com_komento/html/name.php
JoomlaFolder/components/com_komento/themes/wireframe/html/avatar.php
JoomlaFolder/components/com_komento/themes/bubbles/comments/item.php
JoomlaFolder/components/com_komento/themes/wireframe/ratings/overall.php

Can you give it a check is it work fine now?

By the way, all these fix will included in next release version as well.

Hi Arlex,

Thanks for the changes you've done so far

I made a video showing some other things, that now show up; basically just next steps in this process I described in the last video.

You can skip from 3:15 to 7:20, as I'm just trying to figure out what you did, and I don't say anything useful in that time.

Hi Arlex,

The reviews are working now! Thank you.

The comments are still showing "editor" for the person who wrote the comment. It should be "author" or "creator" (you had creator before).

The comment avatar image, and the url of the person who wrote the comment are showing too high in the hierarchy.

I took the liberty of rewriting the coding (only in a text file), to move the schema around, so the right things are in the right spots. I tested it and it validated properly in the Google testing tool. I didn't change any divs or anything, I left the structure, I just moved around the specific schema codes; and added one span/image to add a hidden avatar image.

I've attached an image showing the validation from https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/ .

The page I was working on for this example is https://feastforfreedom.com/recipes/item/sweets/126-cookies/206-chocolate-spice-indulgence-balls.

I've included 2 text / html files. One is your original coding for a section within the SECOND comment on the page I tested (Comment for creator - original.html). I have adjusted all the indents so I could see the structure. The second file is the same section, will all the edits (Comment for creator - Thora edit suggestions.html). I left lots of notes, so hopefully you can see what I did and where.

I have the avatars turned on for you if you want to see what's happening on that page.

Thank you for all your work!

Hi Arlex,

Ya, my brain gets all mushy trying to figure out schema!

It looks much better. Everything is in the right spot!

The only thing off is that it's drawing the incorrect item for the avatar image. I've attached a screenshot showing it.

Thank you!
