I set my EasyBlog ACL so my authors can't create their own tags (I want them to stick to core defined ones).... Trouble is, it looks like Composer still asks them to type a custom tag... and lets them do it.. it doesn't show at any point that (a) they can't or (b) if they do, that it won't work.

Is this supposed to happen like this? I would have hoped they would have just been shown the existing available tags for use, and simply not allowed to type their own....
Looks like this is a bug as the author shouldn't be able to create new tags. They should only be able to enter tags that are already in the system.

OK thanks. Hope its something you guys can replicate and fix in upcoming release. As I say, it allows the user the type a tag, but at least it isn't accepted by the system. But yes the solution is ideally preventing them wasting time typing a tag in the first place.

It's a little tricky Andy but we'll see if we can come up with a quick solution by the next release. We have too many things on our hands right now
