Tags in JCE editor vs Built-in Composer

Hi, I have tried searching in the forums for an answer to my problem but have been unable to find one.

I would like to use JCE as my editor for posts. I have done some blog posts with the built-in composer and have also done 1 post with JCE. I find that with JCE, any tags I add is removed when saving or applying changes. However with the Built-in Composer tags remain and are visible where they have been allowed to be shown on my site.

How can I allow tags to be saved with JCE?

I have looked at ACL disallowed tags and none there. Also I am a Super User.

This is a known issue, I've fix the issue in the file:
JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/post/post.php
Can you please give it a try?

Hello Alan,

Sorry, but I am a little lost here. Are you referring to the tags in EasyBlog as shown in my screen shot here, http://take.ms/haxPt ? When a post is saved, regardless if you are using JCE or the built in editor, the tags should still save.

If this is not the case, is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site so that we can investigate on this?

Hi, yes that is exactly it. The tags appear there when entered but once saved and closed and you go back again it disappears. Also the tags don't appear on the front end.

Hello Alan,

Could you please edit your first post and include the site and FTP access so that we can troubleshoot this?
