Hi

the tags for the menu for "All tags" are not language aware.

You can set up different menus to "All tags" and get this working as expected. All tags for all languages shows up even you have different languages menus set up for this "All tags" menu.

It should work so every language "All tags" should only show the tags that are created for that language fore each "All tags" menu.

Like now you can have a tag for english example "dummy" and then you go to the french part of your site and click on the "All tags" menu for that language you will see the english tag "dummy" and if you click on it the blog not shows up if the blog/article is only set to english.

You have to have some settings when creating the tags or make it not work for all languages for the "All tags" menu there..

Hope you understand what I mean
Hey there,

Unfortunately regarding the Easyblog tag is not support multilingual yet, we will see if we can implement this in the future version.

Thanks that would be good and if it could work integrated also with Joomlas own hierarchical nested categorization navigation tags and used for more customizations options!

So you have the matrix power of filtering location with content! That could be the most useful feature I guess really.

In some cases that could make it possible to allow you to also use built it Joomla tags integrated with ES 2 pages types and make it work with a filter function to filter also users/pages for Joomla tags filter and also with regards to location of register users/members and content.

So that mean if you also add countries/states/(regions)/cities/Zip code in the reg process you could easy filter content and users with these filter drop downs easy.

Example of standard free Geolite db that could be used for also countries/cities etc http://dev.maxmind.com/geoip/geoip2/geolite2/ that could be used for dynamically updated the reg profile type fields like countries/states/(regions)/cities/Zip code for the registration pages.

I add a language package that I used for a Joomla component RPL that have these locations for its user registration but also for its properties that correlate to dynamically insert members but also the property pages there. Just so you see how this code works. This is a Australian package and you upload different packages for different countries you would like to add there.

Cheers!

Thanks for your input Stan

It sound like very good feature, perhaps you can submit a feature request regarding this in our voice page -> http://stackideas.com/voices/easysocial , so everyone else could vote for it, the more people request on this, and we will priority consider it.

Regarding the Easyblog tag support multilingual, we will see if we can do something about it in Easyblog 5.1

You're welcome. That is correct, we will definitely look into this in the future.

As a gentle reminder, kindly start a new thread if you have any other issue in the future so it will be easier for us to manage your inquiry. I will lock and mark this thread as resolved.
