"It is definitely a random and recurring problem. I have the latest version of EasyBlog on Joomla 3.1.5, Joomlart JA Mitius and T3v3 with 130 initial blog posts in an upgrade site for testing before switching to live data.
All 130 blog posts were tagged on creation in June but I noticed Tags disappearing randomly as I went through editing/updating/testing the blog entries.
I thought at first perhaps I had deleted the Tags in error, but it has been happening over the past 6 weeks. I did not have the cache switched on for testing until the middle of July, so the problem has occurred before and after cache was active (I am using JotCache, running at 15 minutes with auto purge).
I made a (final test) change of main image to all the 130 blog entries over the last 24 hours and the Tags have disappeared completely from 19 articles (15%).
Step 1 - Delete main image from 130 blogs
Step 2 - Delete images from media manager, including folder
Step 3 - Clear/delete cache completely
Step 4 - Clean default theme images
Step 5 - Add 130 new images to folder in media manager
Step 6 - Add new main image from (new image folder) to the 130 articles
No other changes were made to the articles, it was a simple process of adding image to article 1 in the admin area, then going to article 2, repeat process. The new images are all correctly visible on the site.
It is not causing a major problem at the moment as the site is still in the final stages of testing, but there is obviously a concern if the problem is there when we go live.
Feel free to access the site and use any of the blog entries to test for the problem as the data will change anyway.
The site is now available on SiteGround after the move from Hostgator.
