Hello. Yesterday I updated to ES 3.1.3 and purged SEF urls.

But at the morning I got this error on any page (site showdown):
Error zero
SYNTAX ERROR, UNEXPECTED ''ID=24697:NE' (T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE

I found this Ticket and purged SEF urls. It start to work fine again.

How to prevent this problem in future?

Thanks.
Hi Dmitry,

Look like I cannot replicate this issue on your site anymore. Anyway, if this happen again, before you purge the SEF cache, can you send us the sef cache file so that we can see how are the sef links being saved into the cache? You can find the cache file at 'JOOMLA/media/com_easysocial/cache/some-random-characters-cache.php'.

E.g.
JOOMLA/media/com_easysocial/cache/45e5d516a83341ca921fe20e61870119-cache.php

Please advise.

Hi Dmitry,

Thanks for the heads up on this one. I've downloaded the cache file directly from your site and we will check the content of your cache file to see if there is any invalid content that causing such issues or not.

We will update you again regarding this matter.
Thanks and have a nice day

Hi Dmitry,

Regarding your issue, I've checked your cache file and apparently your cache file are clean. There is no invalid content in the cache file. May i know if you are getting the exact same error? E.g.

SYNTAX ERROR, UNEXPECTED ''ID=xxxxx' (T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE

Or you are getting other php warning? I suspect you might hit the memory limit exhausted warning due to your cache file size becoming large. Currently at 3++ MB. We are currently working on a fix to ensure the cache file size will not go too big to avoid this kind of issues.

Please advise.
