Yes, it depends which extension you want to use as the primary profile extension. You can configure them in the back end settings of the respective extensions. Assuming that you want to use EasyDiscuss profile system, you can configure EasyBlog to use avatars and profile links to EasyDiscuss

I do want to set up my site so that the EasyDiscuss and EasyBlog use the profile developed in EasyDiscuss.

Please direct me to a tutorial on how to accomplish this. I've explored the 'integration' section in both extensions, but I haven't had any luck in configuring them properly. Attached is a screenshot of the EasyDiscuss integration settings from within EasyBlog.

The login / password is not working for the password protection area.

I'm sorry, I had the Joomla user set to 'registered' instead of superuser. The details in the "update site details" page are correct and working now.

I have configured EasyBlog to use avatar pictures from EasyDiscuss and it's easily achieved by editing the settings area in EasyBlog as you can see here, http://screencast.com/t/pIWkVB6aKBt
