Switch off Menu Options

Hi
I would like to get rid of the options in the Sidebar Menu:
- News Feeds
- Bookmarks
- Pinned Items
- +Add Filter label
- Applications label BUT I want to keep Calendar as a default application for each new user without the need to istall it from the list of apps

Also I would like to get rid of some in the drop down menu:
- Conversations
- Discover

Lastly, in the Chiense file I would like to be able to translate 'Events', as it has not been translated yet. - Where do I find the file and the line?

Kindly please understand that our support policy does not cover customizations. Should you need to customize the layout, feel free to edit the theme file located in /components/com_easysocial/themes/dashboard/default.php

As for the word "Events", it is located in the default /language/en-GB/en-GB.com_easysocial.ini as the following string, you need to look for this in your language file,

Hi I was not asking for customisation. I just thought that its in the settings but I could nto work it out how to remove the unwanted items.

Hi Vlad,

Unfortunately the only way to switch off some of the menu there currently is through core customization in the easysocial theme file.

By the way the path you have given for dashboard is not the same that I have.
CanI just check is this the right path I have?
