Here is more info so we can replace Google maps as many doing now. You can never trust Google


As many have problem and for small org using Google maps there is alternatives like OpenStreetMap

Hello ssnobben,

Yes I have been thinking the same about using OpenStreetMap and thinking the same bad things about Google (I disabled all maps for now).
This would be a great additional option.

Me too. Most of my extension providers have already moved to Open Street maps which is brilliant. Now just need Stackideas to do the same as it is disgusting the way Google will not even let us set our limits to protect ourselves from waking up one day bankrupt because we have no control over what we want to spend

There were no release or update info about OPENSTREETMAP for EasySocial 3 and thats was a disappointment.

Would be good to hear what is the latest thought about this important update/feature for ES?

Hi Stackideas guys!

Why are you so silent with this important ES improvement?

just let us know the status and if its very difficult to add as complimentary for Google map so people can choose wich one to use.

Joomsocial have implemented this already in their previous version 4.6 http://www.jomsocial.com/features/road-map
