Super Admin can't create posts or approve posts

Hello,
I just installed the latest version of EasyBlog you have available for Joomla 1.5.26 (yes I know, old platform). The client can't be budged to upgrade so we have to work with this.

Install had some issues but we were able to work around it. Now, I can create posts as a super admin but they land in the pending folder and when I attempt to approve them when I'm logged in as a super admin, I get the following error message:

No permission to create blog.

It also does not see any of our current set up users in the blog area like it usually does as well.

Have we not done the set up correctly? Can you help?

Sorry for late reply to this,
The Easyblog latest version is no longer to support in Joomla 1.5 Unless you upgrade your Joomla version 1.5 to 2.5 or latest 3.2 , if you don't like your Joomla version update to 2.5 or latest version, you also can download this last older version supported the Joomla 1.5, GOTO > http://stackideas.com/downloads/archives/easyblog > Look at "Version 3.8.14670" > Click "1.5" button for download.

I saw a text post but again same issue, getting the notice but can't see the post and it is sitting in pending but when I log in as a super admin, I'm still getting the error:
No permission to create blog.

Are you saying a need to install the newer 1.5 version I have and reinstall this older version for Joomla 1.5

The client won't upgrade because they don't want to spend the money to do it right now. If I install the older version, will this solve the problem of not being able to post?

If your client won't upgrade because they don't want to spend the money to do it right now, yes it should be solve your problem, so you have to GOTO > http://stackideas.com/downloads/archives/easyblog > Look at "Version 3.8.14670" > Click "1.5" button for download. , because this Easyblog last version 3.8.14670 supported in Joomla 1.5.
