Hello,
I have a problem in my Easy-Blog:
when i post in my blog notification mail send to all the subscribers not the category subscribers. Please advice. Thank You.
Okay, it seems like the reason that the mail is going to everyone is because the option "Notify all members on new entries" is enabled in Settings > Notifications > Blogs .

I have disabled this, can you try again? I tested this locally and was able to reproduce this issue only if the above setting is enabled

When a new blog post is posted, it will actually send emails to the following:

1. Users who subscribed to site wide blog.
2. Users who subscribed to the category.

If you do not want to have item #1, you should disable the option "Site Wide Subscription" to prevent users from subscribing to the entire site. To disable it, go to EasyBlog > Settings > General > Subscriptions and turn it off

Hey David,

Check if the subscribers are actually subscribed to the site wide instead of the category? There are times, they actually subscribed to the site wide and this is why they are receiving the notifications.

Hey David,

Hm, to be honest I am not entirely sure what happened but can you please provide us with the back end access to look into this?

P/S: Which e-mail address is receiving the notification when they shouldn't be receiving?

Hey David,

The details that you enter under the "Site Details" section are encrypted and can only be viewed by us not everyone

Furthermore, if you feel insecure, just remove the access once we are done checking

Hey David,

Hm, I seem to be able to replicate this on your site. Can you include your ftp access as well so that I can troubleshoot this?

By the way, can I update EasyBlog to 5.0.31 on the site?
