From what i see from your discount configuration app setting, it seems like you chose "Automatic discount for fixed plans" type mean it will not allow admin to set any coupon code for this discount type.

But you can try temporary switch to this type "On First Invoice of Subscription", so you can set your coupon code and press save.

After that, you can switch back to use this type "Automatic discount for fixed plans" but make sure you have enable this option "Clubbing of Discounts" from your discount.

In order to work this, I already help you enabled this global setting "Allow Clubbing Of Discounts" from your backend payplans global configuration page.

Can you give it a try and see how it goes?

I like this but I don't remember making any settings. LOL! I most likely just accepted the default settings. Non-the-less, can I just change this setting to "On First Invoice of Subscription" and leave it permanently like that, and if I do, will I need to modify the "Clubbing of Discounts"? I know very little to nothing about all of this, so please be detailed in your answer if you don't mind.

Yes, you can change to this setting "On First Invoice of Subscription" then set your coupon code.

What this option "Clubbing of Discounts" does is if you set to YES, it will accept other coupon code to get discount.

If you set to NO, mean this subscription plan only accept this discount coupon code.

I appreciate you taking the time to explain all of this to me. Please understand that I am a mechanical engineer learning how to do all this html stuff and I really know very little about any of it. I am getting better, but still have a long way to do. That being said, I'm not sure I understand how to use the coupon codes just yet. My site is working, so there is no issue, but I you have literature on all of this, I would like to read it.

You can read more about Discounts at https://stackideas.com/docs/payplans/administrators/advanced/pro-discount . In short, by enabling the "Clubbing of discount", it simply means that a user may use one or more coupon codes on a single invoice.

Assuming that the invoice is $500 and you have 2 coupons that has a discount of $250 each, and the user used both coupons, then the invoice would be $0
