I'm having ahard time allowing site visitors subscribe to the whole blog via email. Individual categories and individual authors have an envelope icon below the category/author name. But All Categories doesn't show an icon and there is nowhere with a link to "Subscribe to bloG".

May be in making various config changes or customizations, I have turned off this capability. Can you tell me how to restore this.

I have added a subscribe module on the All Categories page, but I'd prefer to see the icon below the All Categories title or somewhere on that page or on blog pages.
Thanks,
Andrew
Hi Andrew,

I checked your all categories page and there is subscribe button for each of the categories as you can see here: http://take.ms/sxaDe

If you are referring to this page(https://creatrix.gallery/newsite2/index.php/blog/all-categories), this is actually not an all categories page(http://take.ms/JnIot).

If you want to place a subscribe button in the frontpage menu item, you would have to use EasyBlog's toolbar which contains the subscribe button(http://take.ms/HU6Ag), or place a module there like what you have currently.

You miss my point.

There is an option in the configuration that allows visitors to subscribe to the site. That means that when any new blog is posted in any category by any author , a subscriber to the site gets an email. The clear advantage to this is that someone who wants to be notified for ANY new post doesn't have to subscribe to each category separately.

On the front end, there is nowhere to subscribe to the site that I can find, similar to the way someone subscribes to an individual category (the envelope icon).

As I said earlier, I may have turned that off and can't find how to turn it back on. I don't like using the module that I have placed on my All Categories menu page (yes I know this is really a frontpage menu item, not an all categories menu item).

So how can I provide the Subscribe to Site capability to my visitors?
Thanks,
Andrew

Hey Andrew,

As mentioned at the end of my previous reply, currently the only way to display the 'Subscribe to Site' capability is from:

1. Subscription module - I believe you do not want to use this option.
2. Enable EasyBlog's toolbar - http://take.ms/l8IUo

OK, now I understand. My apologies, I missed reading the final paragraph!
Maybe adding the subscribe icon to the frontpage view might be a good addition for future releases?
Thanks as always,
Andrew

Hey Andrew,

I believe the module itself can be template overridden to show the icon if you want: http://take.ms/W0sk0
