I have had to hide the subscribe to blog and RSS links on our blog because there is an issue with the user not getting a confirmation dialog.
Our "Subscribe to blog" link does work and sends out emails. However, once they enter their information, the modal dialog confirming that they have successfully subscribed does not show up. So the user has no feedback that their subscrption was added (other than the email).
They do get the "There was an error in the form" dialog if they try to submit a blank form.
Which files are the ones that control this functionality? We have customized our theme so it's probably an issue I can fix but not sure where to look.
http://www.vifprogram.com/blog/ is the site. (You will have to use firebug or chrome inspector to display the <div class="component-links float-r">
