Hello,

i am using komento integrated with Joomla! articles, i forgot to set on 'yes' the auto-subscribe and many of our members are not receiving notifications about an important article new comment's, is there any method to subscribe some users to a specific joomla article ? sql querry or other ?

I've modified a bit your file and run this URL:
site details
As you can see, I've replaced commentId to cid. This cid is your article ID. Based on your previous reply, you have stated that your article ID is 336. Then, I runthe URL as shown above. It is successfully created a record: site details . However, I've check the subscribers record and seems like the Article ID is not exist. Can you please verify this? I've checked your Article manager and I don't see any article with ID:336.

Hello Jan,

Its a bit tedious to do via SQL. However, I've created a script for you to run it from backend. Please replace the attached file in: ../administrator/components/com_komento/komento.php and run this URL:

http://www.yoursite.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_komento&import=true&userid=942&commentId=1
Change the userid to the id of the user you want to manually subscribe.
Change the commentId to the id of the comment you want the user to subscribe to.

its not working, i replaced the komento.php file and the ID's and when i execute the script i get a blanck admin page !

i have a small issue, notifications mails are not sent !
i dont know if it due to file replacing, i'd restored the original komento.php but cant see if mails are sent or not.
any idea please ?

I'm sorry but this post is outdated. We can't use the same method to manually subscribe a user. If this is a priority, please do post them on our sales section at https://crm.stackideas.com and our sales department would get back to you with a proper quote.
