This client, and I think rightly so, has had negative feedback about the email icon being used to depict the "Subscribe to blog" link. I agree, it's not intuitive. A better (and much more common - at least in past years) would be the RSS icon - fa-rss. Is this editable from the Settings, or do I need to either edit a file (if yes, which one please?) or create an override?

I couldn't find an icon that actually says "Subscribe" but that would be even better. Let's not make readers play "Guess my use"!

A later thought: Why not, on the "Frontpage", add the same thing you have on a post page - the icon and link that says "Subscribe to this blog post" but change it to "Subscribe to this blog"? Much clearer for users.

An even later thought/request. The client doesn't want visitors to be able to subscribe to a specific post but wants every "Subscribe" to subscribe a visitor to the blog. So all existing subscribe links should stay in place, but they should all just subscribe the visitor to the NorCalPulse blog in total.
Hi Ian,

Perhaps you can consider using EasyBlog subscribe module(http://take.ms/3joQd)? With this module, you can place it on any menu items selected and any module positions. Plus, you can set the subscription mode to 'Site' which means users that subscribe from this module will subscribe to the blog in general.

Once you have assign the module to the desired pages, you can turn off the post entry subscription(http://take.ms/MLeYp) so that the links in post entry page will not show, thus preventing users from subscribing to individual posts.
